I am not really sure why it is that people in general have to share negativity that comes from within, not from their environment. FHSU is a great school. I am a second year MIS student working on my first degree. I have found the instructors to be friendly and helpful. The students are open and welcoming as well. College is what you make it. If you are focused on getting a degree from a reputable school then this is the one for you. If you are going to college to party, and have an active social life free of academic responsibilities, there are other schools. I agree there seems to be one person here dogging FHSU, and where I will not ponder their academic standing or reason for their negativity, I have found that those that are exceedingly nasty in their reviews have has some singular personal experience that has clouded their judgement. All schools come with good and bad elements, it is up to the student to plot their path and make it worth their while. I have completed coursework from a college back east, name starts with a "H", and there were negative elements there as well. What I can sum up is that this school is great for the student that doesn't want the stuffy halls of ivy league, a smaller school that is able to give attention to their students (you are not just a number here) and is dedicated to achieving success.
