DU rocks I honestly don't know what you are talking about. You obviously didn't get to know anybody in order to say that social life sucks. Universities EVERYWHERE are all about getting wasted or whatnot; you're going to find that anywhere you go, its inevitable. As poor college students there is a lot to do, depending on the amount of people you KNOW and if you can get a JOB (there are MANY job opportunities in the Denver area). It's true a lot of people go skiing, but at the same time a lot of people don't. And since you're a freshman, you're obviously not going to take major classes right away since you need to know how to walk in order to run… |
Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
The people at this school are not friendly. I have had very few good professors and the classes they make you take Freshman year are mostly pointless. They don't let you take your major classes right away and there are a ton of required classes that are just busywork. The social life is terrible. There's almost nothing to do if you don't plan on getting wasted every weekend night (and some weekdays as well). Being in the city is good, but as poor college students there's not much to do in the city. Most people just go to the mountains every weekend to ski, but that's really the only plus about this school.
