So no transfer students gets housing on campus were would you live? How much would it cost? |
Have you been able to register for the classes you wanted? Or have you been frustrated by being "frozen out" of initial choices? |

I wasn't sure I made the right dsecision to transfer to SUNY New Paltz at first. Due to the recent popularity of the school, there is no on-campus housing for transfers. Now that I've been here for a while, I am so happy I came here. The staff is very involved and supportive of the students…any problem and they are right on it. You really get to know your professors since most class sizes are relatively small and they go out of their way to help if you need it. Most of my professors have been very inspiring and approachable. The student body is so down to earth and friendly…I have met so many awesome people and they are willing to go out of their way for you. The social life consists mainly of the bars on Main Street and house parties. You can party or not, it's up to you - no pressure. The environment is one of acceptance and individuality. I know I am really going to miss it here when I graduate.
