I'm a student from just outside Philadelphia. Coming to NC was a huge change for me, but I wouldn't trade my experiences at Elon for anything in the world. I don't know why people are writing poor reviews about our school. We are one of only 18 accredited private schools for Communications in the nation. We have one of the most beautiful campuses. Everyone you meet is friendly and helpful, and the faculty work overtime to give us the best experience possible. I have professor's phone numbers, and my professors have helped me land internships at a local newspaper, 60 Minutes and CNN London. We have been in the top 3 student newscasts in the nation for the last 5 years. Elon gives everyone an opportunity to get involved from the second they step foot on campus.

People say that greek life takes over here, but that's definitely a misconception. I'm not greek. My best friend is greek and my boyfriend is greek. Our greek life is NOT exclusive, and they log ridiculous amounts of community service. Yes, people drink here. It's college. But we're not excessive.

Elon is the perfect size to feel comfortable in knowing people, but also to meet new people daily. Elon has so many involved, intelligent people who have some of the most intense school pride I've ever known. Don't listen to the stereotypes of Elon's past… we aren't a rich kid country club, we aren't alcoholics, and we aren't greek-obsessed. Elon is a place for dedicated people who want to be successful in life. We're a rising school that is on people's radar, and employers come here weekly to visit classes and meet students because they realize the caliber of an Elon education!

responseYou sound like a typical elon moron
responseIf you could get a job based on the park like setting here at this diploma mill all will be good. I plan to do post graduate work at a real university. This was a great party but nothing else. I learned to recite the Greek alphabet backwards. Will that get me a job? Only regrets here. Everyone was too cool to notice me. What was I going to do with a mass communication degree anyway. I will always remember throwing up under the oaks!!!
