CNU's biggest asset is that it is small. Classes are small, so you really get to know your professors. I know that I can go to my professors for help if I have issues. Talking with my friends at other state universities, that is certainly not the case. As far as social life at CNU, you have to get involved in some of the extracurricular programs. I hear some students complaining about their social life, but it is because they don't go out and get involved in anything. I see this as part of growing up. You have to put yourself out there and join groups of interest. People are not just going to walk up to you and start a party! I have to admit that I wonder if I missed out by not going to a big school with big time sports. It would have been fun. The advantages of a small campus, for me, still exceed the negatives. If you have chosen CNU, you have made a good decision. Bottomline, get involved in campus activities early and you will appreciate your college experience.
