Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
SCSU is a very good school, although it is completely underestimated. The kids at my high school all went into the IVy Leagues, while I had to have my name next to Southern COnnecticut State University. I was embarassed, but when I came here, I realized how difficult it was and would not be an easy four years. There are way too many pre-requisats for the University as well as your major. I am most definitely NOT going to be graduate in four years withought taking summer and winter courses on top of my fall/spring ones. Many people really don't like the school, which really bring me down and makes me think less of it. I will always defend Southern, especially because of it strong acadmic program, but the social life is not what I expected. I made a few good friends, but the rest were more like acquaintances.
SCSU is definitely a commuter/suitcase scool, so not many people are on campus on the weekends. It gets pretty boring… When there are people though, it can be quite fun.
