Keene State College

I was so excited to come to Keene. But once I got here everyone is focused on partying. Very, very few kids are focused on academics. All they care is if they pass, not really interested in the fact that they are actually paying to be here.

Everyone is lazy. The winters here are dull and depressing. You basically leave your dorm only to run to class, and then come back. No one wants to get involved and don't want to "waste" there time at campus events- cuts into pre-gaming time… oh no!

The weekends are dull, there isn't many events going on during the weekend. They figure everyone is at parties. I mean come on if your going to Keene State, your obviously coming for the parties.

Oh btw if your not a partier before you go to Keene, you will be. Me being one.

But don't get me wrong you can meet some great people here! Just not the smartest people out there. Most have SAT scores between 1200-1550 (all 3 sections combined, easy) and had a high school GPA of a 2.9.

I have decided to transfer schools because I felt that my 4.0 at Keene wasn't well deserved. It was way too easy, I did nothing. so thats why most kids are able to bullshit their way through college and be drunk the whole time… just counting down the minutes until Thursday night.

Keene State also is the type of school where you go freshman year to get your partying out of your system, then transfer to a better school. CT students like me being Uconn.

So if your decision is going to Keene, you most likely have these qualities:

1. You LOVE to party/smoke/drink

2. Education is one of your last priorities

3. Like the frigid cold

4. Liberal

5. Boston Red Soxs fan

But in the end college is what you make of it. Good luck!
