Major: Music Education (This Major's Salary over time)
So this is coming from a NON Greek music major. I love this school. I have a sort of different view of the school because no I am not in greek and im perfectly content with that. In the music department I have found the program to extremely educational and beneficial. the Faculty in the music department are very hands on and because you may have teachers for multiple years you really can create a great bond with them.My regular classes (such as english, math, french, speech, etc) were also good but not of the same quality of my music course. the teachers are still great at what they do but the classes are much less personal and you feel like just a face in the crowd but i dont mind since i have so many classes where that is not the case. The social life is a little different at TCU. On Fridays around 2pm the campus empties out, lots of kids go home on the weekends which kind of sucks from time to time but i still found it enjoyable. I NEVER went to a frat or sorority party and i still managed to have a good time. a lot of the time there are smaller non greek groups that have house parties around campus and those are often more fun than the greek parties from what i hear. TCU is a great school IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT.
