Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
Started out at NVCC, then transferred over to GMU (over American U. and George Washington U.). Given the quality, reputation, and resources (at least back then) that the school afforded, I had the best time at GMU. As many mentioned here, you get what you put into it—so I dove right in and participated in clubs (both academic and social), took advantage of the speakers, the free shows at the Center for the Arts, saw some games, and really soaked in what the Metropolitan Washington, DC area offered. The school used to be one of the best-kept secrets in the region, but now that cat's out of the bag, thanks to two Nobel Laureates, several Pulitzers, Peabody, etc. recipients, as well as a nationally recognized sports program.
