I had a chance to visit many universities in different states, and it is fairly hard to rate Oklahoma Christian. First, this is a Christian School. There are a lot of things that challenge a person like me who do not have too much things to do with Christianity. However, as time went by, I realized that it actually the best thing that ever happened by attending this college. Teachers are very friendly. Seriously, the only big reason for that is that they believe every little effort they do is honoring Jesus Christ. Teachers have a fairly enough office hours and in many cases they can help even over the weekends. I remember myself getting stuck one time on one of my engineering laboratory. I couldn't get it done on time. The teacher proposed me to come and help me on Saturday! Unheard of, huh? Beware however that even though all teachers are friendly, they are also tough in many ways. Do not expect them to give you easy life just because you are friends. In fact, the more they know you, the more they try to make you work at your maximum capacity. Another thing to mention is that all teachers (At least those in the Engineering Department) had a very successful profession career in the past. Most of them have many awards hanging in their offices.

I would advise anyone to come at OC under one condition. If you hate homework, DO NOT APPLY! This school is not an easy one. I am bright enough, and I was at the top of my high school class. When I talk to my formal high school students, they say their colleges are easy and they have parties every weekend! Here it's not the same. You will have homeworks until the end of the semester. Usually all my classes assign a 10 question homework every week, i.e. almost 50 questions every week if you take 5 classes. Besides, you should take into account other class work such as papers, lab report and lab preps. The last thing to keep in mind if you want an easy college: This school does not give too much multiple choices type exams. Most of the exams are essays and you have to think.

Good luck with OC. Thanks God I am almost done and heading to a brighter career in California!
