As an Institution:

Many of Whittier's faculties, especially residential life, is unorganized and will not hesitate to treat you like crap in order to fix their own mistakes

>>I was denied my paycheck several times because of their mistakes, I was also falsely accused of a crime and forced to pay for it, and these are only the worst of my experiences.

The college offers a very unique array of education options and classes, some being great some being horrible.

Cafeteria food is consistently bad

Social Life

Here is the breakdown..

Most people can get away with less than an hour of homework and studies a day which leaves them incredibly bored.

Since you need a car and gas money to enjoy LA most people don't bother to make that a habit.

The surrounding city of Whittier is only good for shopping and eating out and mediocre shops and restaurants. The town is not nice enough to simply enjoy walking through.

The extracurriculars are lame providing only a few actually entertaining events a year—So what most of the students end up doing,(all the social ones)is getting drunk and helplessly searching for parties or just enjoying the lame ones that are put on near-by and are busted by cops by midnight or getting high every single day.

I tried to find other fun things to do, but a car is absolutely necessary

As very social and amiable freshmen I went a total of 2 good parties that did not get busted by cops, but I went out every single weekend because the schoolwork required practically no commitment. Almost every weekend ended in frustration because I couldn't find anything fun to do.
