Date: Jun 28 2010 Major: Psychology (This Major's Salary over time) Let me just start off by saying that UNC-P is what you make of it. It's not one of those popular party-frenzy schools that has this big reputation for being awesome. It is, however, an exceptional school with a lot of great qualities. The campus is really nice, although I can't say the same for the city it is in. But this is why it is so important to DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE CHOOSING A SCHOOL! If you're looking for a small place to get a pretty good education, pembroke is for you. If you're looking for a big party school where you can get away with things without people knowing—look elsewhere. It's a small enough school where people are going to know a lottttt. I went to Pembroke for all of my undergrad and I will admit that being a student-athlete was my reason for staying. However I will say that the quality of my education was good and my faculty was outstanding! Now I am on my way to graduate school and I feel as though my undergraduate experience has prepared me fairly well. Once again, don't choose a school without doing your homework, visit the campus first and know what you're getting yourself into. If you visit and you still like it, then I think Pembroke will be just fine for you.
