YTI Career Institute - York

Whatever you do, do not go to the YTI Altoona campus. It sucks majorly! No one there cares about your education at all, they just care about taking your money that is wasted here at this campus. The teachers suck here! The two new teachers that we have SUCK at teaching, a freaking monkey can do their job. Besides the fact that they can't teach worth shit, they don't even have a teaching background. I even told the program director myself that the one teacher doesn't actually "teach" and she hasn't done a damn thing about it. Although, we did have a teacher for the first two terms that was decent at teaching. We liked her but she got a new job but I don't blame her one bit for moving on. Currently in our third term, we have a teacher that actually has a degree for teaching. She's even told us that she is the only one there at that campus that has a bachelor's degree in teaching. I believe that is what should be required for ALL teachers. And that's even proof that YTI don't care about education because they think it's ok to hire some Joe Blow off the street who don't even know what they hell they're doing when it comes to teaching and expect students to learn. And it's also pretty bad when my whole class feels the same way about this. I am very angry at this campus because they refuse to do anything about this and all they care about is your money. DON'T GO TO THIS SCHOOL! You will regret it. This campus is a joke, and that's just an understatement.
