It is true that if you are a closed-off antisocial person you won't find much to do during the weekends. I didn't really like UNCC my first couple of weeks, but the school really grew on me. My first year at Charlotte was probably some of the most fond memories and fun I have experienced thus far. You will meet tons of people just from your dorm. There are always parties going on, you just have to ask around. I PROMISE you that once you start meeting people you will always have something to do/party on the weekends. As far as academics Charlotte might not be the best, but it does have some excellent professors and departments. If you choose Charlotte you will have a great time as long as you are open to meeting new people.
