The University of Oregon is about football. Rightfully so because the athletic department is the only department living in 2010. The dance department is a joke, and a waste of anyone's time and money. The faculty are useless and they provide no advising or professional development. It is an arena for them to feel important, and students are second rate. The community is just as backwards. Maybe everyone is high all the time, but I think they are just sadly stupid. Busy bodies, hypocrites fill the gossipy town. Having lived so many other places, I could see Eugene for what it was. A train stop town, dreadfully fearful of change.
