Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
The University of Chicago seems to exist in a kind of ivory tower. The coursework in political science bears little relation to anything in the real world. Instead, the department was a kind of overly-intellectual microcosm. The same could be said of other departments. For instance, the economics professors were for the most part fanatics, determined to uphold their own theories, rather than look at evidence.
