I'm in the MFT program at Loma Linda and it's an awesome program. I went through the master's and the doctorate. Most of the teachers are great and there's only some politics that if you keep your head down and stay below the radar, you can bypass without it hurting you. LLU isn't a school for arguing your own point of view. You have to keep your mouth shut and get your degree and then you can start arguing. However, you will learn a huge amount of information and you will be way more qualified than most other therapists. One negative about LLU's program (and I've heard this in other programs) is that you feel totally incompetent when you leave even though you're actually more competent than most of your peers. A few years of experience and some looking at reality and you'll get over this. I learned to look at life in a whole new way, made a ton of friends and professional contacts and I feel like I have sooooo many options for my career. I would choose this program over again despite the few problems that do exist.
