this school is whack! It is filled with pretentious rich kids who think they are smart, but they seldom are. I am not saying that harvard does not have it's share of smart kids, we have alot of them, but some kids are just soo condescending and they exude an element of doucheness that really gets on my nerves.

All in all the professors seem to be preoccupied with their research/work and it's sometimes hard to get their attention. Some Teaching fellows are big A-holes, but not all of them are.

The campus is really not that great, plus there are always the random tourists everywhere and they can be really irritating especially when you want to go to annenberg and they always seem to congregate into a big blob of asian by the john harvard statue.

If given the chance i would have went to stanford instead. It is always windy here, the only good thing is cambridge has awesome ethnic restaurants like tanjoore, takemura, hong kong, etc. And there is this really small amc on church street which never plays the movies i want to see. the last paragraph was extremely jumbled, but i am disappointed in this place, i got into stanford and regret not going.

A big blob of Asian? How very interesting because not only was this statement worded so terribly, Harvard has a white student majority. So wouldn't the school also be visited by white students and a larger number of such? For someone who must have had high enough scores to be accepted into Harvard, your logic is quite flawed.

You need to learn some of the fundamentals of English grammar: distinction between its/it's and the use of participles, for example. If Harvard really did admit you, I hope it was not on account of your terrible English.

I don't think either OP's logic or your own is flawed. The original poster mentioned that they have great ethnic restaurants. It could be that they're visitors, and Harvard was simply an interesting attraction to see, or even a motivating factor. Also, the ethnic restaurants could've been driven by an ethnic community.

OP is totally right, the asian tourists do just congregate and take photos around the harvard statue. ALL THE TIME.

Asian must go Harvard. Ivy is prestige. (What is the Ivy?) No prestige is dishonor. Dishonor!
