I was told that ABA approval was merely a matter of rubber stamping. Unfortunately, that was not true. I cannot even get a job as a paralegal (without a cut in pay) because of the school I attended. I have had friends who were considered good enough to temp as lawyers but were told that in spite of doing excellent work as a temp, they would not be hired because of the school they attended. Also, try explaining your grades with that "C" curve. In addition, professors had certain people that they had to "take care of" so those were the ones who were allowed to get above a "C."
