I've really enjoyed my time at WNEC. I went out, got involved and made some really great friends. Thats really important at colleges. When you get involved, it makes college a more pleasent experience. It is really important to go to an open house just to taste the food, and get to know some of the faculty and staff. The food here is good! So try it. Yes, it is college food, but they're very accomidating and do a really good job at having something different every day.The social life here is very active. Majority of the students who attend this school become very involved in clubs, honor societies, and athletics. Yes, there are students who do go home on the weekend, but it is mostly freshman who go home because they haven't gotten involved or made an effort to make friends. There are partys, sometimes they get busted up, other times there aren't. For those who do not drink, the programs that they have on campus are really fun!! You can win prizes, eat food, and hang out with friends. This campus is really friendly. It is small and you do see cliques of friends, but you see that happening at all schools. It's important to keep an open mind though. We are a VERYYYYY welcoming community, no matter who you are or where you come from. It is nice to know you can be yourself.***It is really important to really take a look at college. They offer tours all year round as well as open houses fall and spring. Students who transfer tend to transfer because they didn't really see all aspects of the college. Really think about what you're looking at for a college. Like I said, I have had such wonderful experiences here. I've also had some hard times too, but i wouldn't trade it for anything.
