Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
Honestly, my freshman year at this school was decent. I was in the NET program and I was slightly disappointed because of the lack of effort from my Personal Advisor. The people who lived on my floor interacted with each other a little bit. The NET program is a 50/50 shot. You can have a great time or just an ok time. The overall professors are GREAT! They are very helpful and care about their students' success. This school felt racial divided. People wouldn't mix with different races and stuck with their own. After my freshman year, a lot of people I met left or transfered to a different school. I tried the Sophomore's NET program and was VERY disappointed. The fact that I paid $50 for nothing didn't go well with me. People on my floor did not interact with each other at ALL and PA and RA didn't do any activities. Big waste of money. There is a lack of social activities to do at this school. If you are wanting a "college experience" then you will be disappointed. However academically, you will be satisfied as long you work hard. If I had to decide what school I wanted to go to, I wouldn't have picked this school because of the lack of the college experience. You can always go to UNT's school functions to get that "college experience." Safety wise, there are a lot of dark areas on TWU. They need more lighting and the emergency poles don't always work.
