I love UConn! I made a lot of great friends my freshman year. UConn has gotten pretty hard to get into so the caliber and character of the student body is very good. Just sit in the Student Center and look around. You will notice everyone is serious about education. That's not to say we do not have fun. We study hard but there is alawys something going on, especially on the weekends. Moderation and self-control are important at UConn. You need to keep education first. Classes can be tough, especially the sciences and maths. Creating study groups is a big help. School spirit is amazing. Everyone has clothes that has UConn on it. I look forward to returning next week.
