Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
I was in the nursing program for 3 1/2 years. I had to retake a couple classes because I missed the 80% in my nursing classes by 0.4%. With the exception of a few staff they say they are willing to help you, but they don't. The course work is very repetitive and a lot of busy work. They say you are not graded, but you are you have to get an 80% or better on all "assessments" (tests) or you will fail. The papers or project you do are not graded and you could fail if not done, they can only hurt you not help you. I ended up graduating from Alverno with a Bachelor's Degree in nursing, definitely a long difficult road, on a plus note Alverno is very well known and from what I've seen being in the work place nurses have more respect than some of the other schools out there. Alverno, also prepares you to look at multiple views in the future for organizational developments.
