Bemidji State University provided to me everything that a student could ask for. i.e. Awesome professors, plenty of clubs and organizations to get involved with, mass amounts of outdoor beauty, an active Outdoor Program Center, fun dorms, active student lifestyle, and much more. I recently went back to visit after graduating two years ago and was greeted by professors, faculty, and staff with a smile and a hug. The president sat down with me and we chatted for a half hour about life and the school and what has been happening since I left. Very few other schools will you find anything like that. I met my best friends here and received and education that has gotten me a job that I enjoy and love going to. Career Services assisted with everything I needed, even a year after graduating when I had questions.BSU is not for everyone, however. If you are looking for a big city school with clubs and dancing all the time, then you probably should try somewhere else. But if you want a place to have fun, meet awesome people, be known and challenged by your professors, and want to get involved with clubs $ orgs, this place is for you. Plenty of outdoor activities very close and a plethora of equipment and information from the Outdoor Program Center. Now that I am across the country and not in Bemidji or the midwest anymore I realize how much I miss it and the people there. If offered a position in Bemidji I would return in an instant. It is a great city and even better school.
