I commuted my 1st year to Ramapo. I found the school to be pretty accommodating towards the commuters as a whole. The campus is beautiful and you'll never feel unsafe. All the professors I've had so far were good, able to explain things well and kept it interesting for the most part. As far as the education goes you get what you pay for.Downsides, getting the classes you need are impossible and the server crashed both semesters. I've found most of the students to be pretty cool but some are just plain dreary and uninterested. If you plan on living at school, I'd say look elsewhere. However, if you're commuting and don't really mind not having a good social life then this is the place.
