Hi what is the GRE and TOEFL score required to get into MSU? |
Major: Telecommunications (This Major's Salary over time)
Remember, college is about preparing one for the real world. MSU does this in spades! Yes, with the huge student body you are a number, but that just makes you fight harder to be recognized, compete harder for that cherished internship, be more aggressive in impressing professors to get recommendations. All of these are valuable assets in the real world. If you are an introvert, MSU is the NYC of college campuses, everybody just looks straight ahead without looking you in the eye while you stroll through town or campus, but if you make an effort, everybody is very approachable and just wants to meet people and make friends as well.
I was a little bummed though of the lack of diversity of people on campus, very little artsy types, mainly all preppies here.
The campus is absolutely beautiful. I have been to many campuses across the country and MSU blows everybody away.
East Lansing is a very typical collegetown. All the businesses cater to students with your typical meat market bars, coffeehouses, shopping and restaurants. One thing I was not happy about is the lack of a live music scene. I now live in a town with about 30 clubs for live music. East Lansing only has one, Rick's Cafe. Not great if you are trying to start a band.
To wrap it up, Great real world experience. Will make you more hard core and competive and perhaps make your personality more outgoing because you do need it to make friends.
