This is a horrific place for disabled students. The office established for supporting the disabled students is mostly an excuse for a few people to collect a paycheck by doing as little as possible to actually assist disabled students. Requests for accommodation were dismissed and denied with reasons including "because we don't offer that accommodation". The director of their disabled services dept. looks at customized accommodations (accommodations not on their list of services "offered") as too "time consuming" for her to deal with. The attitude of the school's compliance officer is predictable as he is the head of the school's HR department. Hearings of complaints by students include NO student advocates but include advocates and representatives of staff and faculty. Neither is this a university that cares about its disabled student population nor is it a university with any serious intent to comply with the ADA. Disabled students should attend a different CSU campus where treatment of the disabled is taken more seriously.

As a California tax payer and voter for well over 35 years, I am convinced given what I've now seen with CSUSB that measures that would provide funds for supporting CSUSB are not being well spent at all.
