If you want to go to a school who slacks in EVERYTHING possible go to UHM but if not head for greener pastures. I have never met a school filled with the most laziest and unintelligent people as I have met attending this school right now. The school's priorities are hay-wired. You are charged an athletic fee for the football players but they are firing people left and right, the buildings are LITERALLY falling apart and it's nearly impossible to graduate in 4 years. The people here are usually local so their dreams in life aren't that high and for most of them UH is just an extension of high school. The people here are very anti-social and I being an African-American woman can tell you that I intimate people because of my skin color. So people have to push themselves to talk to me…sad. The TAs are just cruising by life, the University has a record not to listen to students requests…ever! Social Life is incredibly lacking on campus as most of the people on campus live off-campus. If you want a school that offers sororities or fraternities then you should just leave cause you aren't going to get that here…unless you count a bunch of little girls running around one then I guess you can. Most people like to just cruise and "talk story" all day. Or maybe smoke a blunt or even do both. There is no drive in this school so if you are someone who needs motivation to succeed you aren't going to get it here.
