SVSU is a great school for students who are independent workers. You will not be "spoon fed" everything—if you want an anser to a question, you need to seek it. This is good preparation for the "real world." In my experience, the students, faculty, and staff have been very friendly, helfpul, and approachable. The professors I have (with the exception of math) are intelligent and passionate about what they teach—and on top of that they are willing to help you. I appreciate the smaller class sizes because I am comfortable and feel welcome in each class. The campus is beautiful, and Saginaw and Bay City are cities with many options of things to do. You just have to be willing to be proactive to get the most out of your experience here. I transferred here from a private university, and I love it and prefer this school to the others I have been exposed to.
