Simply awful. IONA, I am afraid lives well and truely up to it's name - Idiots On North Avenue! I have an awful time and we are not even half way thru the semester. The professors are not helpful and they tend to ignore you if you are not a superstar athlete for the Iona Gaels! The campus is full of clicks and the athletes tend to be held in very high regard by the President, his adminstrators, professors and the student body. So, if you are not a superstar athlete, please consider another college. Also the social life tends to focus on downtown New Rochelle, which can be very dangerous and alot of the people who live in New rochelle are very anti-Iona and cannot stand the college and it's students. I will be transfering out in December 2010 and look forward to go to another college which doesnot focus on it's sports programs and neglects the academic side of college.
