Honestly, I never thought I'd need to write an awful review about this school. TCNJ may have a great reputation and be relatively inexpensive, but I dread every minute of it. 1) The cafeteria food is mediocre, besides the breakfast food which is unedible. However, if you're a picky eater, expect to eat the same things a few times a week. The main problem is the fact that it closes at around 8 and after that, food is hard to come by. You can either go to the Convenient Store, which is ridiculously expensive (about $8 for a box of cereal!) or you can go to the restaurant T-Dubs and either pay cash or use up most of your points. Either option isn't too great.2) The faculty is friendly, especially in the dining hall, Health Services, etc. So far my professors have all been friendly too. 3) My main issue with this college is that there is NOTHING to do in your spare time. Sports are a joke here and no one even goes to games. It takes about an hour bus ride to get to the closest shopping center or about 2 1/2 hours to get to the mall (getting back takes even longer). The only thing around the area is a gas station with a Dunkin Donuts and a 711. That's it. Also, don't expect a good party scene because there isn't one. I spend 99% of my time in my dorm sitting on the computer. This is usually what people don't want to pay thousands of dollars to do.
