Okay after reading all these comments I got pretty annoyed. I transferred to F&M after spending my first semester freshmen year at a larger state University. I hated going to school with over 30,000 kids because you never got to know anyone that well or did any of your professors really care about you. At F&M the professors are so easy to get in touch with and really really want to help you. The people who left bad comments are complaining about the social life and how its boring, ect. Honestly I have been to a huge "party" school with great athletics and F&M is alot better socially because you can get to know people better. F&M will suck if you don't get involved thats the bottom line. I am on a club sport's team here which is so much fun and it's great hanging out with everyone in free time. I also started a club here which wasn't very hard to do, which is a different story at other colleges. If you get involved its easy to have fun and the small classes are way better then huge lectures. I love F&M and it is a great place to be, college is what you make of it so people can't sit around do nothing and expect it to be amazing.
