I remember reading these reviews a million times before I finally signed to be an out-of-state athlete @ SBU. I was so excited, but now that I'm actually a student I cannot say I like it at all. It has its strong points, but you must know that it's only for certain people. Basically, if you come from a highschool of less than 500 students, you love being in the middle of nowhere with only a Walmart, parties where people only talk to their close-knit friends, cliques, and not a ton of fun or activities, THIS IS YOUR SCHOOL. Coming from a big-ish city, I went crazy. I'm still a student ehre now and cannot wait to transfer. The food gets old FAST and it is def not exciting. There may be a million + reviews on here, but I guess I'm just one out of the bunch that didn't find it as amazing as th rest of the world.
