This is the worst school in the history of Earth. I'm a graduate student and I really wish I went to another school. During orientation for the graduate school one of the speakers asked everyone who was new to ECU to raise their hand. Nearly everyone raised their hand; a very bad sign. I feel like everyone that I encounter is a complete idiot. Even the graduate students only seem mildly intelligent (except for the Asian students - they are almost always much more intelligent than the other students). My professors couldn't care any less about their students. I did my undergraduate work at a different university in NC and I thought it sucked there as well. But, it was so much better than ECU. It is commonly said that America has the greatest universities in the world, but the 4 universities I have attended (undergraduate, summer school, graduate school, etc.) have all sucked. Furthermore, Greenville has got to be the worst place to live in America. I feel like I am living in the Twilight Zone. If I ever own a business I will make sure that I never hire anyone who received an education at ECU. The "education system" in the U.S. is so screwed up. There shouldn't be a "system" to begin with. That's the root of all the problems with education. We try to homogenize everything in our society. The dumbest people in the world are American college students. Nobody in this country realizes that they are brainwashed by the media and unable to think for themselves. On average, Americans are much less intelligent than people in other countries. To conclude: ECU sucks, and you can't think for yourself. There is a near 100% chance that your world view is identical to either the MSNBC/NPR/Hollywood mindset, or the FoxNews/Christian mindset. Yes, that's you. You are one or the other. There are very few people who think outside of this box that we are all pushed into the day we start watching TV. You're (not your) too (not to) stupid to understand this, so go back to watching TV.
