Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
The nursing program doesn't care it's students. They are more interested in how to improve test scores and increase graduation rates vs. the hardships that students face. Nursing students have to pay for everything: supplies, books, and completely useless online tests and on line programs. These same tests/programs can be offered to us at a lower rate. Tests can be given in classes but they want to prepare you for the NClex testing which is two years away. The books are repetitive. You'll buy FIVE books that have the same information. Because you are forced to buy their books you can't go online to get them cheaper or used. No consideration is given to our work schedule or family commitments. We are just statistics to them and not students
