do not come to uah if you have a choice. the faculty is horrible and the administration is even worse. in all fairness to the faculty, i think the good teachers are fed up with not getting cost of living raises and are leaving because of the president and the ones that do stay have tenure (so why give up job security). the rest of the faculty are foreigners who barely speak english and have no idea about how to convey the subject material to students. mostly the school likes for people to fail because retakes means more money in their pockets. the administration here is absolutely disgusting. they are of no help. every student complaint or problem is answered with "oh well, thats just how it is" and the student is sent on their merry way with no type of conflict resolution. parking fees and tickets are outrageous. campus life is a joke (parties consist of sitting around playing video games) and the students are sheltered, snobby, pampered rich kids that have no clue about life in the real world and how things really work. basically they are a bunch of robots that follow rules blindly and alienate themselves from anybody that disagrees with UAH policies as they are afraid of being persecuted by the university as well. the president does not care about students, but rather only how to fill his pockets with their money. nobody here is truly happy and it shows on campus because everybody is stressed to the max and hardly anybody smiles. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL AS YOU CAN! your money will be better spent elsewhere. it amazes me that this tiny little commuter school justifies charging only a couple of hundred dollars less per year than the university of alabama. again, stay away because your money should not come here to support this toilet. the only way, it seems, to get the point across that the president here is not good for the school is for enrollment to continue to drop, as it is already doing.
