Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
I started as a political science major. My first year at Calvin was ok. I made a couple friends, had some fun did ok in my classes, but was a little disappointed with the closemindedness of the school. Unless you are a die-hard liberal, DO NOT COME HERE. Expressing conservative views earns you stares like you just slapped a beggar in the face. Christianity is secondary to social justice, so expect to have far more conversations about how to distribute food aid than how to know Christ better. On another note, the philosophy department rocks! Del Ratzsch is the best prof ever. If you are a philosophy major, the department will overcome whatever other faults the school has.
