Common Recruiting Tactic that Heald Admission Reps use; This story does not exist, nor do they even provide physical evidence to support this story! Not disclosing financial aid information in regards to the cost of the degree program. A prospective student has every right to request this information. It is a violation of Federal Law/Regulations in not making financial aid information available to prospective students!Misinterpretation of the Job Placement Rate of Heald Graduates. Only one individual in our Degree Program was able to secure a decent job, since he has more extensive experience then the rest of us. The rest of us however, are still struggling in trying to find a job! Their are some students who really do abide/have true faith in the Job placement, but they still fail to realize the actual reality of things! An A.A.S. Associate of Applied Science Degree, is not considered a real degree, therefore is completely useless! Traditional Colleges/Employers do not recognize an A.A.S. as a legitimate nor valid degree! An A.A.S. does not have the same academic level as that of an Associates Degree at a Traditional Community College. In conclusion, the main objective/role of a for-profit institution such as Heald College, is to make money, and to use that money in funding the pockets of their Shareholders Dividends. All of that money is being drawn out from us, the students! My advice: take your General Education Classes at a Traditional Community College, it will be cheaper! It may take you a bit longer and there will be times where you'll be challenged, but at least you are receiving quality education and your units will be transferable to any 4 year University System.
