Major: History/Histories (art history/etc.) (This Major's Salary over time)
I am a Russian Studies major, but there are NO Russian Studies crosslisted classes. Language is all there is, and for a place called the "Havighurst Center" to exist, this seems very sad. The library is woeful when it comes to materials. Their DVD collection is poor, several subjects are neglected. The school prides themselves on looks over substance in many ways, including incessant mowing when nothing needs mowing.DO some comparison and ask hard questions before coming to MU. There are better schools, especially some really good private universities in Ohio. Don't be pulled-in by MU being a "best buy school" or "pretty" or "friendly to all needs." It is not that I am unhappy with the school, but for all the hype, I expected so much more than I am getting. Also, unless you are a freshman and starting out of high school, you are going to be censured by the student body. I found this "snobbery" appalling, especially as a "non-conventional student" (as I am regarded as being). I constantly find myself snubbed because others don't see me as a student. As I stated: DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE SENDING YOUR CHILD HERE.
