Dillard University

Dillard brought tons of students in on scholarship. going aaround campus if youd ask a reshman whyd they come to dillard they say "because they gave me money". Dont come to dillard just because they gave you a scholarship. There is only one dorm open now 2010 for female frshman everyone else lives a block away meaning dillard is basically dead sometimes. Maintenance in the dorms is horrible sometimes you dont have hot water or air conditioning and they have a tendency to treat you like a child here which doesnt suite the whole college life experience. The poplulation is really small maybe 2000 students maybe so that means you see the same faces over and over again. On the weekends oh my god ! its like ghostland the school really doesnt do anything for its students and they dont have a football team so while veryone elss having their homecoming you will be bored out of your mind. Academics are a god thing their some teachers are good while others shouldnt even be teaching. Food is horrible but thats just college. surroundung city is ok i guess its new orleans but its still in construction and the streets are horrible ! and theres only so many times that you can go to bourbon. and coming from another state i was open for a different type of place but not here. I regret making this my first year experience. please please go to the school and look ! go when the school is in session and NOT springbreak go and Financial aid people i swear they are horrible !
