I'm a freshman, but I enjoy it here, unlike a lot of poeple I know. There are parties if you look for them. I prefer to be quite, and I find that easy to achieve as well. I just wanted to describe what I've found for people who are thinking about going here. It's small. The T isn't as close as it's advertised. Maybe like a 15 minute walk? The commuter rail and bus stops are closer, less than 10 minutes to walk. The dining hall food isn't amazing. I love pizza; the pizza here is good if you get it when they first bring it out. They usually have the same things to eat everyday, so you can try to get inventive (today for lunch I got a plate of fries and a bit of cheese sauce to have cheesy fries). The dessert in the dining hall is usaully quite tasty. I like almost all my classes, but the workload isn't tough (not something I mind, personally). There's a decent amount of clubs, i've joined 3 of them and enjoy going to the meetings. Some people said it was hard to find jobs, but I checked the lasell website a lot when I first arrived and got a job fairly easily, and I love it. Warning for people who want to come here: Some have called it a "suitcase school". This means everyone goes home every weekend. This isn't completely true, I know poeple who haven't yet left ( thanksgiving break is next week) and they have awesome times at parties over the weekends. I usually go home every other weekend. Also, It takes sometime getting into the boston. The T is annoying, and takes a long time. My sister lives in Boston and I grew up near by so I already knew this before I got here. The bus is faster and cheaper. I'm a graphic design major and I enjoy it very much. The teachers made it extremely easy people in my major to plan a schedule. They also have to computer labs, one with macs and one with pcs, these are quite nice. I live in the crummy freshman dorm (woodland). Upside: Meeting people, it's all freshman. The rooms are also HUGE. Downside: The bathrooms are gross (especially biys i've heard) and it can get a little noisy. and It's all triples (but the rooms are still but despite this). I've heard nothing but good things about the dorms you get after freshman year, especially the houses on campus. uhhhh yeahhh, your welcome for the novel I just wrote. And I'm too lazy to spell check. Your welcome.
