The Scool of Architecture at UH Manoa has a few gems on the staff, however, the administration is completely unreliable, un-informed, and does not care about the students. It has a new dean who is changing the 7-yr doctorate to a 4+3 BArch+MArch system. That was 3 years ago. It still has not changed. Many talented and driven young designers have wasted precious time in hopes of a BArch and have yet to revieve one. DO NOT STUDY ARCHITECTURE AT UH MANOA. At least not in the near future. You will waste your money, and more importantly you will waste your time.
