Roosevelt is a growing university in Chicago. I graduated with a masters in Integrated Marketing Communication. For the most part the program was great. The school does not have a very difficult admissions process which is something that all schools should have. College is for education and advancement not for GRE tests. If you cannot maintain a 3.0 you will be removed from the program. I think that this method provides as a better tool than a GRE or other standardized tests. The professors really paid attention to details for their students and provided real world experience. Like any school we run into some professors that are not as great as other but that is life. Roosevelt was a practical choice for me since it allows working students to take classes at night. One issue that I am hearing about is that Roosevelt is now combining graduates with undergraduates in classes. I would not have stayed at the University with this type of setting.Roosevelt remains to be a university for non-traditional students. They are trying to change that and for the most part I understand the they are succeeding. The school is very liberal compared to my undergraduate college. This has its advantages and disadvantages. Overall, Roosevelt was a great experience for me.
