I applied to the School of New Resourses at the College of New Rochelle thinking that it would be an ideal place to continue my education. First off let me be very clear, the admission staff will mislead and decieve you. You will not be told that the College of New Rochelle will "NOT" take any credits from the School of New Resources however, some credits are transferable and will be taken by the School of Nursing but they will try and bully you into taking a brunch of courses that you do not need or will not be accepted at the School of Nursing just to keep you there longer. If you plan on transfering to a different school you will find that your credits are not accepted by a number of schools. I have come across numerous students that are still partisipating in the program because they dicovered this fact late and are doomed to completed the program. When I came to register I sat down with an advisor equiped with a copy of my transcript which was reviewed while chosing my course schedule. I was led to belief that my credits were transferable. I say led because the advisor choose words that made it seem as though my credits were transferable. It was not until the middle of the semster that I was went a letter showing that the majority of my credits were not accepted a point which would have been "extremely" helpful to me had I been told this from the very begining. Yet another factor is the School of New Resouces admissions treats their adults students like children and they are rarely forthcoming about anything. It is all about money for them they could care less about you and it shows. There is not enough space on this page to tell you the countless stories that I have heard from my peers in regards to this bogus adult degree program. All I can say is "RUN" don't walk away from this place. It is truly not how it appears to be.
