This alum has a chip on his shoulder about something. Also, ASU is hardly the real world - only mass-market sheepskin liberal-land. |
Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
ASU is what you make of it. I laugh at the "party school" reputation. Evidently you have never been to a Big Ten school in the Midwest if you think ASU is a party school. Ignore the StudentsReviews from insecure little 18 year olds who will drop out after a year or two. It?s the way it is at ASU. Either you are self motivated and stick with it or your blame ASU for inability to avoid the pitfalls of a big school that will claim its next victim, one after another. Guess what, life is the exact same way. ASU is a microcosm of the real world. Sitting around in some small town in upstate Vermont with a teacher/student ration of 1/10 is not the real world. Those schools may land you the first "big" job based on the "alumni network" but over time you will see, those people don't last long. Entitlement is not a job skill big time employers value…Save that for the grad school applications.
