School is awesome. But it's not a typical college. At firsT I was a bit dissapointed because I wanted that whole college experience, walking through a parking lot, meeting someone in the dorms—doesn't happen. Think of this as a rEALLY cool highschool where you'll know everyone in your major and even ones lower/higher than you. And sure everyone on your floor, maybe for the first 2 years but when you move over to 31st Dorms, everyone is pretty much closedminded, keep to themselves/their rooms. People are approachable as long as you have a friendly output and aren't shy or less confident then they. I was a guy that went there soo.. most of the girls i've seen are all alike, or if not, i never bothered to take advantage as work was important. And i got hit on a lot so i hope that says something. Fine ARTS Loads of fun. You just play with paint, and every teacher is different and they really- down to their bone, do care as long as you care about what you do. Most people here aren't good, and they take this for granted. You can work the system if you are a girl, but depends because i know some girls that didn't get by and did the same things that the other girls that did. you have to love art, otherwise don't waste your time because you're not gonna get a JOB after this. You're not, unless you wanna work in a boring gallery (tho they have fun events) or u want to move on with teaching or art history teaching (as you auto-matically acquire a minor in art history though this major) Uhh, any other advice.. hmm..

Cheap school, not expensive. NYC IS amazing, this is the reason why im so glad i didnt go to a campus, i dont think i could have handled it. So ya, there are bars u can get into under 21, there are millions upon millions of places to meet people, starbucks, ice skating rink, central park, union sq, a RANdom ass store, on the street,—my adive, just me FRIENDLY, seriously, if you see a good crowd just act like nothing hits you, your amazed at the world, you're interesting and interested in them and things will be golden. Best of luck. (you won't need it) - (Oh and dont complain about utlities, like paint and stuff, get over it, you're gonna have to pay a lot out of ur pocket for materials)
