The people at this school are not very nice. The main focus for the majority of people is their resume. Actually understanding material and applying it to situations is not why people come to NEU.

The faculty are way to absorbed in their own research to care about student progress.

I went to a state college fo rmy undergrad degree before attending NEU for my masters. I prefer the state college. Students went to the state school to learn, they usually had to work a full time job at the same time, so these students actually cared about bettering themselves. Mommy and daddy did not just write a check. The professors at the state school really cared about student progress, dedicating quite a bit of time outside of class to help students. Also much more bang for the buck.
