After being here for 2 years and having a sister here in the Pharm D program, I want to let future students know the truth about USci without bias. Because when I applied, I didn't read many review. There rarely were reviews.

Here it is:

I came from Princeton, New Jersey, from a very good school system. I went to USci-USP because of it's proximity and 0-6 pharmacy program.

This school is full of students from Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Pennsylvania is huge and many of the students come from either city or isolated pockets of small towns. While some are decent people, most of them are unreasonably racist, self absorbed, snooty, or backstabbing. Those who are not, are small in numbers and difficult to find.

They reserve backtests to themselves (cannot find backtests else where) and refuse to work in groups. They're often party goers and judge other people quite harshly.

I find that many students are pot smokers or "athletes" who haven't grown up from high school.

The social life is dead unless you find a select group of people.

And since it's a small school, you'll be plenty unhappy knowing there's so few nice kids.

Academically, the professor are jerks. There are only a few good ones and after they're taken, USP puts you in a lions pit, commanding the students to fight over the best professors. None are easy, and all require work. While the first year is easy, drop out rate is 50% by 3rd year. Due to transfer, or low grades.

They lie to you and smudge the numbers.

GPA minimum is 3.0, an unreasonably high number.

In 3rd year it goes to 2.3, still unreaonably high considering the average for every class is 70%. You're looking at the professors deliberately failing students to get a class average of 70%.

It is that bad.

As well, some of the professors should be fired outright, such as Zinc, for creating unreasonable failure prone tests. Some professors such as Halpern are supportive and very nice. Most are assholes.

If I were you, keep away from unless this is your last choice. I regret it.

Unless you're good with competition and can deal with assholes, then come on in.

No one is here to hold your hand.

No instructions provided.

USP sucks your money wherever they can.

Do NOT be fooled. This second rate school is worthless.

They do not care if students fail. They do not foster academic success and value education.

They want money.

Students are racist and separate into groups.

Students are stuck up for idiotic reasons such as being in a student school group such as Student Government Association or APhA.

They're assholes.
