Major: Public Health (This Major's Salary over time)
My paramedic program was relocated to another campus after signing up and relocating for the original location. Our teacher left us high and dry mid way though the program. Our program got extended by 3 extra months by the state. There has been no change in class lots of busy work. And no compensation from the school or the teacher who left us high and dry. the dean of the campus came and said I am sorry and we are learning from this mistake. I understand not all the blame is to lie with the school but who was the teacher working for? Who do we pay for our education? Where does the hope check go? We were also promised a grant to help recover some of out out of pocket cost. 8 months after the paperwork was submitted 12-13-2010 still no money or explanation. Over all this is an ok school 5/10. Covington campus is prob 3/10 and the Ems, Fire, Paramedic programs are rates about a 2/10. I have somewhat of an education from them but I guess I will find out when I comes time to put it to the test in real life.
