Major: Computer Science (This Major's Salary over time)
I did ICS at UCI, landed an internship at Boeing at the end of my sophomore year, and am now a computer scientist at Adobe writing code that is executed by literally a Billion computers world wide. My education at UCI is exactly what enabled me to do this. The career fairs were always awesome, and would be lined up with all the top tech companies. If you go to UCI, make sure you get plenty of corporate experience while schooling. If you don't, and then don't land a great job afterward, don't blame UCI, blame yourself. So that's all the serious stuff, and the most important IMO. There PLENTY of extra curricular activities at UCI. Lots of student clubs, sporting events, the ARC, THE ARC!!! etc. You can make lots of life-long friends at UCI. UCI has a basketball team which is good, not great. No football team. If UCI did, it'd be UCLA, as that's really the only difference.
